What Does Writing Mean To You

What does writing a 4-5 page paper mean?

Do I need to write 4 pages with it bleeding onto the 5th or does it mean that I only have to do 3 pages bleeding onto the 4th?

Especially if all of your classmates do it differently, these chances are unnoticeable by themselves, but in a stack of papers all the same? yeah you'll get discovered.

If you're writing in TNR size 12, try increasingly the size of all your punctuation to size 14. Sounds tedious, but the amount of extra space you get is ridiculous, and its fairly quick if you do it every paragraph.

To be safe make it 4 full pages bleeding into the 5th, especially is your paper has any sort of name/heading/title at the top. If a student barely makes it to page four and I can remove 1/3 of a page by removing their name, date, and section number I count it as too short. Have at least 4 full pages of actual written content and you're good to go.

Depends on the professor. Usually with my philosophy professors, if they say the page paper should be 4 pages, and you only had a few sentences in the fourth page, you reach the page count. Don't recommend this approach, though.

TBH this might just be me, but the only time I've gotten penalized for length was when the professor's essays were specifically aimed to teach students to express a complex argument in 600 words. Generally, assuming your argument is sound, thorough, and answers the prompt, anywhere within 2 pages of the official page count is okay.

Four full pages. Also, try not to BS or do the retarded margin/font tricks. Try convincing yourself that you really love the subject matter for a few hours, and you shouldn't have a problem meeting length requirements.
